 This module will allow you to add a blog to your website. You can use this module to share your articles or relevant information.
To add a Blog module to your website, click on the Add a module icon, at the editor's main toolbar. Select Blog.
Note: Every time you go to the next tab, your changes are saved.
A window will open:

In the Title & Design tab, here are your options:
1. You can choose to use a title for your module by checking the I want a title box.
-If you choose to use a title, you will have to type the title in the Title field.
2. Choose your module's design among the three available. The green check mark shows the selected design.

In the Settings tab, here are your options:
1. In the Default viewt field, choose the display mode for your articles: List or Post list.
The mode List displays the first lines of each article and a link that allows you to read the rest of the article.
The mode Post list displays the entire article.
2. In the Main author field, enter name or pseudonym of the person who publishes the articles.
3. In the Main email field, enter the email address of the person in charge of updating the blog.
4. The Number of articles per page field will allow you to choose the total number of articles posted on a page in your blog. The following articles will be displayed in the next pages through the page numbering at the bottom of your blog.
5. Check Enable RSS feed box to activate RSS feed for your blog. Your visitors will be able to subscribe to your blog to receive your updates through an RSS reader.
6. Enter the title of your RSS feed in the RSS Title field. This title is usually the title of your blog and will only be visible in RSS readers used by your subscribers.
7. In the RSS Description field, enter a short description of your blog. This description will appear in the RSS reader of your subscribers.

To start adding articles, click Add a post. A window will open: |

In the Text tab, here are your options:
1. The name of the author you are entered in the Author field will display by default. If you need to change the author’s name, you can change it that field.
2. In the Title field, enter a title for your article.
3. In the Text field, write your article.

In the Format tab, here are your options:
1. Choose the format to display the module’s content. The green check mark shows the selected format.
Media tab

In the Media tab, here are your options:
- Choose the type of Media for your article: Image, video or photo album.
- If you choose Image:
- Click on Browse to choose an image (the image must be already saved on your computer). Once the image is selected, click on Ok.
- Choose an Action for the image. When clicking on the image...
- Nothing happens : The image is not clickable.
- The picture expands : Shows the original size of the image, on a black background.
- You are redirected to a webpage : Enables you to create a link on your image. To know how to create a link, please read the add a link section.
- Choose an Effect for your image. You can preview an Effect by clicking on the effect's name. The image will be changed to fit the effect you have chosen.
- You can enlarge or reduce the image's Size by moving the cursor. To the left to reduce it, to the right to enlarge it.

- If you choose Video:
- In the Search field, enter keywords to help you find your video. If you’re looking for a video from your YouTube account, you can enter your YouTube’s username as a keyword. You can also search the entire YouTube video library by using general terms.
- The table shows the results of your search. Click on the video of your choice. A preview of the video will be displayed on the left.

If you choose a Photo album:
- Click on Browse to choose an image (the image must be already saved on your computer), once the image is selected, click on Ok.

In the Settings tab, here are your options: 1. Check the Allow comments box to receive comments on the article 2. Check the Verify comments before their publication box to accept a comment before it is seen online. 3. Check the I want a nickname field box to ask your visitors for their nickname if they want to comment on your posts. 4. Check the I want email field box to ask your visitors to fill out the email address field if they want to comment your posts. 5. Check the I want a website field box to ask your visitors to fill out a website field if they want to comment your posts. 6. Choose the publication date of an article by using the calendar. You can choose a date after today’s if you want to publish it later. 7. Check the Hide this article online box to make this post unavailable in your blog. 8. Check the Auto-archive this post [in one week, two weeks, one month, two months, six months or one year] box to decide after how much time it will be archived. 9. Click Save changes to add the post

By clicking on the article’s title, you will be redirected to the page containing the entire article and the comments related to it.

In the Comments tab, here are your options:
- If you need to approve the comments before they are published, change the status to Online in order to accept and publish a comment.
- To supprim a comment, click on the trash can located at the right of the comment.
- Click on Next Step for more options.
